Foam Cut-to-Size Service

Regardless of where you live, whether that’s local enough to call in to our Showroom, or you live the other far end of the UK in John O’ Groats, we can supply whatever you need in terms of Cut-to-Size Foam.

We can supply cut to size foam to any shape or size no matter how intricate or challenging!

As well as offering over 20 different foam grades, and being just as happy to quote you for 1 piece or 100, we can also supply as required:

Stockinette Undercovers

Our stockinette undercovers fit permanently around your new foam and are strongly recommended in order to give your outer covers a smooth, uncreased appearance. They also make the fitting and removal of covers considerably easier. The stockinette creates a barrier between the foam and the outer cover and so protects the foam from wearing, if the cover moves. Stockinette is not necessary on mattresses or overlays.

Finished Foam Cushions are then fitted with a Stockinette cover to reduce creases and also protect the foam and fibre

Polyester Fibre ‘Dacron’ Wrapping

We can fit a polyester fibre ‘Dacron’ wrapping to your new foam, to give a softer more rounded look to your cushions. It takes away the otherwise very angular look of new foam. We offer a STANDARD 6oz wrap which is what you will find on most existing suite cushions, or a HEAVY 14oz wrap which is required if you are replacing feather or fibre fillings with foam. This extra heavy wadding is needed to fill the shape that feather or fibre designed covers will have. We then fit stockinette undercovers over the polyester wrapping, again making it easier to remove the outer covers if required.

Our experience, machinery and skills mean that we can help you regardless of how weird and wonderful a shape you require cutting in foam!

If there’s any curves involved, then we’d need a paper or polythene template like those shown below..

Please note that any foam cut-to-size that you require other than small quantities of simple squares/rectangles will normally be cut off-site, so will be ready for collection, or despatch by courier, within 2-3 working days.

We have a huge selection of Foam Full, Half and Quarter Sheets, in stock, ready to buy and take away from our Foam for Home Showroom

As an alternative to our Foam Cut to Size service, if you’re happy to cut the foam yourself, then our Foam Sheets will save you a lot of money.

Our Foam Sheets are the least expensive way of buying Foam… We have Foam Sheets you can buy at TRADE PRICES in stock, ready for you to take away if you’re local, or we can send them anywhere in Mainland UK!

Our Foam Sheets are available in different thicknesses and can be cut at home with a carving knife.
